Clint felt his will power slowly draining out of his body as he watched Lacey’s light pink tongue slide over her plump bottom lip. He may go to hell for this, but it was a chance he was willing to take. When she caught that full lip between her teeth and started nibbling again, he groaned deeply. Swiftly claiming her mouth with his, Clint used his own tongue to trace her soft lips, before slipping it inside her hot, wet mouth to tangle with hers. A shiver ran through him as she reached out and lightly traced the bruised area around his scar. “I almost lost you,” she whispered softly as she stared at his chest. “There are three people in this world that matter to me more than anything or anyone else. You are one of them.” Raising tear-filled eyes to his, she said, “My life is so out of control right now, Clint, but one thing I know for certain is that I want this.”

As Clint gazed down at her face, so full of not only need, but also nervousness, he knew he had to go slow. This was about more than just a quick fuck. This was about showing the woman in front of him how much she really meant to him. That even after everything they had been through, he still wanted to be with her, and only her.

Placing a soft kiss on her lips, Clint rose and held out his hand to her. Silently, she took it and they made their way back to his bedroom. Shutting the door behind them, he stopped by the large king-sized bed and turned Lacey to face him. Cupping her cheeks in his hands, he closed the distance between their mouths, licking gently at her lips until she opened for him. God, he loved the way she tasted.

Groaning softly, he leaned back and slowly undid the buttons of her shirt. Sliding it off over her shoulders, he bared more of her soft skin to his hungry gaze. Her breasts were covered in a light pink bra with white lace. He could just barely see her dark nipples through the thin material.
